About Brotherly Mud

With lush vocal harmonies and commanding compositions stemmed from a true passion for songcraft, Brotherly Mud is the next generation of Americana. Lyrically rooted in the folk tradition, Brotherly Mud’s music is equal parts poetry and composition. Presented in a harmonic mixture of Folk and Bluegrass traditions, this Northern California based group has earned frequent comparisons to Simon & Garfunkel and CSNY.

Bassist/writer Daniel Roholt holds degrees from the Berklee College of Music and Musician’s Institute, with guitarist/writer Seth Grauer holding education from the latter. Drummer/percussionist Will Condrey obtained a history degree from Sacramento State, while mandolinist/guitarist Gabriel Bingham has been a music instructor for a decade.

Since their official inception as a live, touring group in the summer of 2018, Brotherly Mud has performed over 200 concerts, playing alongside Grammy award-winning artists and other industry veterans (Amy Helm, Loudon Wainwright III, Willy Tea Taylor, Wayne “The Train” Hancock).
